So, yeah... Blogs...

Well, I decided since I started posting for Youth Voice Radio, I might as well start posting for myself in case anyone gets curious... So, what about me? I'm... British. I have dark blonde hair, really pale skin (since I'm British and can't tan to save my soul), dark grey eyes, wear glasses and I have three scars on my face. One on my forehead from chicken pox which kinda looks cool since they're a bunch of circles in a curved line and the other two are these upward curve things that look like all the pores on top of my cheekbones got dug into with a needle. I'm very hyper and optimistic. I have a never ending supply of energy and optimism and try to brighten up everyone's day if I can. I love to make people laugh. I think it's just great to see other people, especially my friends. I just like laughter in general since it means you're happy and you're enjoying yourself. That's kind of the reason why I write.
I write like crazy about everything. Poetry, short stories, never-ending novels, fan-fictions; you name it, I've probably written it. I'm not exactly sure I got into the while interview thing though... I think it was because in the first publication of FLIP, a student published zine at New Urban Arts, I saw interviews in it. And when I became co-editor of FLIP, I wanted to continue that theme of having interviews. So it just became a habit and I found I have a knack for asking thr right questions to the right people. Plus, maybe being a good writer is part of that too. It's also lopts of fun too since when do you ever get to sit down with an artist and have a mission to see what makes them tick? It's awesome! You get to see a different way of thinking every time you talk to someone and I think it's just great to see new ideas and new ways of think and looking at the world around you. The way an individual thinks is very interesting to me so I just love to dig into people's head to see how they think and what inspires them.
You also never know what you're getting into which makes it so much fun. When you interview someone, you slightly expect them to answer the question straight forward, but people realize that they can have fun with it and give you the craziest answers and it turns into the best interview ever. It also helps the other person feel more comfortable which helps them give honest answers...
Which leads me to what my mom wants me to major in in college which, for some odd reason, never occurred to me. I can major in English and have a minor in art and got to town with the job opportunities. Why have I never realized this?! Am I stupid or something?!
And I feel like I'm writing a lot when I have a half- an hour time limit on the computer at the library and I need to get to the mall to buy pencils and a belt and lipgloss and books and I need to get to Wikipedia so I can do reasearch on Bleach and look up Japanese mythical creatures... And then I need to get home so I can do my nails, and write, and watch Avatar and Naruto... And I might go to 7/11 so I can buy icecream and chowder....
GAH! Too much stuff!!!
So, I'll wrap this up with a mood and weather.
Mood: Happy, but rushed and kind of wet
Weather: Raining buckets. It's flooding in Olneyville. I'm happy I live on a giant hill.
